The New Gospel Connection

 Born into a musical family, God saw fit to bless her with the voice of an angel.

Encouragement of her mother, who saw early glimpses of greatness, she sang her first song, that she wrote herself, at the age of 9. She has been writing and singing ever since.

In 1999 and just 15 years old, she was introduced to a small church in Everett, WA (Christ Life Center Church, now located in Tacoma, WA).

Her mother walked up to the pastor and told him that her daughter can sing and he should give her a chance. He did, and the rest as they say is history. She has written several songs for the praise team, and has been featured as a soloist both in church services and abroad.

Brandy was married to Jacob Nordgren in 2003. This was a match truly made in heaven. Jacob is currently one of the northwests most sought after lead guitar players while his wife is an up and coming singer songwriter.

She describes him as her guitar player, encouragement, and ministry partner. He provides the musical foundation to her words, and always encourages her to "be true to yourself". Brandy Nordgren has opened for Kirk Franklin, Virtue, and has sang for years on the same praise team with Crystal Aikin. She made her acting debut as Annette in the play "Why Lie: You could have told me" on February 24th 2008 to a sold out audience at the Intiman Theatre in the heart of Downtown Seattle. A true blessing too the body of Christ, Brandy says this "My whole goal is to present the true and living God through the music he has given me".

Loved by many, and with a great support system of her church, family, and friends, Brandy Nordgren is poised to make a great impact on the music industry and the lives of every soul she has the great honor to minister to.
